Many leaders from different parts of the world gathered on May 27th 2021 by TAJ Dubai for the “Shaping the Future of Education” conference hosted by The Abrahamic Business Circle. Prominent executives in government, investment, and education discussed the importance of educational technology, intercultural behavior, e-learning, education and immigration, and education and investment.
The global health pandemic has shined a harsh light on the vulnerabilities and challenges facing the world. It has provided a clear picture of what steps need to be taken in order to educate more than one billion students whose learning has been hampered due to school closures. The Abrahamic Business Circle education conference provided productive round table discussions on a number of topics, including how investing in education stimulates the economy; how literacy on intercultural behaviors affects economic outcomes; the future of hybrid and blended learning in edu-tech; and the impact of immigration on education.
The event was hosted by the Dubai Correspondent Bloomberg TV, Economic and Financial Commentator Ersoy Erkazanci and by the Senior Finance Lawyer Nicole Purin. Prof. Andrea Claudio Galluzzo, the Chancellor of the World Master Academy university took part to the “Shaping the Future of Education” conference in a very significative way focusing on the topic of Luxury Education dedicated to upgrade industry executives and fashion entrepreneurs. Galluzzo, founder of WMA and European Education of Hawk International Group leaded by Chinese investor Jonathan Huang and chaired by Mario Boselli, president of the Italian Fashion Chamber, explained how luxury is a state of mind coming from experience, more than just products or services. Therefore WMA bases its highly bespoke executive courses on very skilled and experienced protagonists of the luxury industry to make the partecipants effective leaders in their companies.
Ohio State Humanitarian of the Year Awardee, Entrepreneur and Advisory Board Member of The Abrahamic Business Circle, Joy Malka Rothenberg, welcomed the audience and cited the importance of education. Several Diplomatic leaders were present including Her Excellency Hjayceelyn Quintana, the Ambassador of Philippines to the UAE, Her Excellency Rose-Ann Benjamin Consul General of Grenada, His Excellency Franz Michael Skjold Mellbin Ambassador of Denmark to the UAE, His Excellency Lalit Perera Consul General of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Ahmed Elmetwally, His Excellency Albino Malungo Ambassador of the Republic of Angola in the UAE, and His Excellency Bahodur Sharifi Ambassador of Tajiskistan to the UAE. At the conference, leaded by H.E. Dr. Raphael Nagel, founder and head of the Abrahamic Business Circle, was awarded for his ongoing commitment and dedicated contribution to economic peace in the Middle East region as the leading figure in building bridges between countries and generating international business through economic diplomacy. His Excellency Dr. Raphael Nagel gratefully acknowledged sponsorships of ten full academic scholarships for the Filipino Students to the Embassy of the Philippines to the UAE under the Leadership of Her Excellency Ambassador Hjayceelyn Quintana.
The Abrahamic Business Circle awarded and recognized notable individuals for their significant contribution to the Circle and the society. Among these were Mitch Lowe, Netflix Co-Founder, whom received Distinguished Mentor Award 2021 and David Arkless, Manpower former global President, also received the recognition for Outstanding Global Contribution in Labour Migration.
